We got married in 2014, in Triskel Christchurch, Cork. We were so lucky to have had a beautiful ceremony, in an amazing building surrounded by our nearest & dearest.

 

To this day, when reminiscing, it's the music that guests remember most.  From start to finish Jean arranged, an almost intimate recital that touched not only us, but all present on the day. Jean created an atmosphere so far above our expectations.

 

She made regular songs 'ours' with her creativity, experience and attention to detail. It really was the best part of our day. I wouldn't change a single thing.

Jean Elliott-Murphy sang at our wedding in April 2015 and I would highly recommend her to any couple.  As our wedding was set in a hotel it was particularly important that the music would create the atmosphere and Jean’s soulful, beautiful singing did just that.

 

She is wonderful to work with, warm, enthusiastic and so flexible to learn so many different songs. Each song was sung as beautifully and each as important as it was a reflection of our relationship to date. The music and singing was one of the most commented things by our guests and it is a testament to her beautiful voice.

 

When I reflect on the day I remember how my nerves were eased once I heard her singing “If You Were To Fall” as the ceremony commenced.

We had seen Jean perform at a work colleagues wedding in 2014 and we were instantly overwhelmed by the beautiful sound and tone to Jean's voice. She created an enchanting environment that left everyone in the ceremony in awe and even a few tears were shed.

Jean met with us a few weeks before the wedding to finalize the music and she made recommendations that we just would not have thought about.
